PTA Mission
To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Jones Valley Elementary Parent Teacher Association (JVE PTA) is dedicated to bringing the PTA Mission to life at our school and throughout our community.
What does PTA do?
School Events
We host events like Cub Community Day, Open House, Thanksgiving Feast, and Growing Our Cubs Earth Day event!
Fundraisers
We raise funds through events like the Fun Run and Book Fair to support school-wide and grade-level needs throughout the school year.
Teacher & Staff Support
We help provide teachers with materials they need and also spoil them with luncheons and events to show our appreciations for all their hard work!
We are able to do all of this because of memberships and support from people like you!

Exectutive Committee
The Executive Committee for Jones Valley Elementary PTA is an elected group of 11 positions. All positions are a 1 year term with a maximum of 2 years serving in the same position. Elections are held at the last general PTA meeting in the Spring for the next school year.
President
Leading board meetings and decision-making processes
VP of Outreach
Oversee community outreach events and programs
VP of Communication
Oversee all communication including social media, weekly news letter, etc.
Recording Secretary
Taking meeting minutes and maintaining board records
President Elect
Assist the President in their duties
VP of Hospitality
Oversee all event preparations, gift cooridnation
Treasurer
Manage organization finances and budgeting
Corresponding Secretary
Handling correspondences, managing memberships, and overseeing grant and award applications.
VP of Fundraising
Oversee all fundraising activities, including community sponsors
VP of Service
Oversee the recruitment and coordination of volunteers
Treasurer Elect
Assist the Treasurer in their duties
