Friday Backpack Meals
Each year, the JVE PTA works alongside local organizations to provide Friday Backpack Meal bags. These typically include small breakfast and lunch items, juices, and snacks. It may not be a complete meal, but we hope it helps to ease some food burden. We are blessed to have local churches provide these bags and all we have to do is get them to the students.
What to expect
Each week we need help with two tasks.

First, bags for car riders are delivered to home rooms. This can be done anytime before 2pm on Fridays.

Second, we load bags onto the buses for students that ride the bus home. This is done Friday afternoon starting at 2pm.
*Both task can be done by one person, so feel free to sign up for both tasks* Also, these tasks don't need two people, but it is more fun with a friend!

Bags are packed by local churches and delivered to the school on Thursday. They are in bins along the hallway near the art room on the first floor. ​
