REFLECTIONS 2025-2026
ENTRY DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31, 2025
Your JVE PTA supports the National PTA's long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, the Reflections program has provided opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success by helping students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas using art and to develop confidence and a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Students participate by creating and submitting original works of art in response to the 2025-2026 student-created theme "I BELONG!" in the following categories:
Dance Choreography
Film Production
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
Visual Arts

Official Rules:
The National PTA Reflections Theme Search is underway- and your idea could inspire student artists around the world.
The top five Alabama PTA entries will receive a $20 gift card and advance to the National Parent Teacher Association level.
The National Parent Teacher Association winner will receive a $100 prize.
You must be a student with an Alabama PTA/PTSA in good standing.
One entry per student/past themes are not eligible.
Deadline is November 1, 2025, at noon.
All entries must be submitted directly to Alabama PTA using the official Entry Form.

A mandatory parent meeting will be held for parents of any students going on the Dauphin Island Trip.
Itinerary will include:

Permission forms requiring a notarized parent signature (Notary will be there)

Joining PTA gives you a voice in important voting decisions, helps to cover operating expenses, and overall benefits our school at large. Your membership does NOT come with a time commitment or requirements!

Photo Tips:
Include lunchtime, field trips, class parties, school events, etc.
Groups of students.
Photos can not include parents or siblings who do not attend JVE.
